Synopsis

Sampling is an essential part of research, hence, the understanding and ability to perform appropriate sampling design is vital for any medical and healh students and professionals.   This book provides an overview of sampling in medical and health research including determination of sample size and samplling techniques.  

The book comprises seven chapters namely: Chapter 1: Introduction to sampling (Pengantar Metode Sampling), Chapter 2: Survei Sampling Methods (Metode Sampling Penelitian Survei), Chapter 3: Trial Sampling Method (Metode Sampling Penelitian Trial), Chapter 4: Diagnostic study sampling method (Metode Sampling Penelitian Uji Diagnostik), Chapter 5: Cohort Sampling Method (Metode Sampling Penelitian Kohort) , Chapter 6: Case Control Sampling Method (Metode Sampling Penelitian Case-Control), dan Chapter 7: Correlation Study Sampling Method (Metode Sampling Penelitian Korelasi).

We also provides learning objectives as reflection for readers, steps by steps for sample selection and sample size calculation, and cases for each chapter to be discussed.  The book should be of interest and beneficial for students and early career researchers.
