Synopsis

Permasalahan kesehatan dapat terjadi pada siapa saja termasuk wisatawan yang sedang melakukan perjalanan wisata. Upaya promosi kesehatan dapat berkontribusi dalam mengurangi kejadian sakit pada wisatawan. Buku promosi kesehatan perjalanan wisata ini membahas tentang pencegahan dan pertolongan pertama terhadap permasalahan kesehatan yang dapat terjadi pada wisatawan selama perjalanan wisata. Secara detail, pembaca dapat memperoleh informasi terkait pengkajian risiko kesehatan, pencegahan dan pertolongan pertama berbagai masalah kesehatan, seperti: masalah kesehatan perjalanan umum; penyakit yang menular melalui makanan dan minuman; reaksi alergi; infeksi saluran pernapasan; gigitan nyamuk dan serangga lainnya; gigitan hewan penular rabies; gigitan ular; sengatan dan tusukan hewan laut; keracunan metanol; infeksi menular seksual; trauma atau cedera; dan masalah medis lainnya. Meskipun buku ini terutama diperuntukkan bagi pramuwisata, informasi yang disajikan dalam buku ini juga dapat bermanfaat bagi pihak lain yang terkait.
